This job is temporary, part-time, working varying days up to 24 hours per week, and is located in our Beaverton, OR location. Pay grade minimum is $13.04 per hour. Applications must be received by or before December 11, 2013 for consideration.
Working as part of a warehouse team, the Warehouse Worker strictly follows established inventory and material handling procedures to receive and distribute food and other products using a warehouse management system (WMS) & hand held computers. The Warehouse Worker performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of Oregon Food Bank Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), process flow, WMS and requirements of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Feeding America.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to obtain food safety certification and the ability to pass criminal background check are also required.
