    The Kresge Foundation has awarded Oregon Food Bank an $800,000 challenge grant to complete the purchase and renovations of OFB West. With your help, we will meet this challenge and reach our $8.5 million goal by spring.   • Albertsons - top food donor

    Albertsons donated 3-million pounds of food to OFB during fiscal year 2008-09 – making it the number one food donor within any single fiscal year. That’s enough food to help agencies fill about 60,000 emergency food boxes for hungry families.
  • Group gets a kick out of helping others

    Did you know that the Guiness World Record for the longest kickball game was recently set here in Portland?

    In addition to playing kickball for more than 33 hours, Portland kickball players also raised food and funds for OFB.

    Thanks to exceptional efforts of residents, staff, guests and local business owners, a Washington County retirement community raised nearly $7,600 for Oregon Food Bank.
