    Oregon Food Bank's two Portland-area locations hosted 616 volunteers for a day of service in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. In a single day, volunteers repacked 123,000 pounds of food, the equivalent of 102,514 meals - more food than is typically processed at Oregon Food Bank in an entire work-week!

    Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon (Regence) has been instrumental in strengthening the internal structure of Oregon Food Bank and continues to be a powerful OFB Network partner.

    In July 2012 alone, Regence’s statewide food drive collected 610 pounds of non-perishable food, raised $2,572 in general support. In addition, Regence employees volunteered 293 hours at various agencies throughout the state.
