Regal Cinemas Cans Film Festival
Fall
A longtime Oregon favorite! Donate three cans of food at any Regal
Cinema in Oregon and receive free admission to a movie and a child-size

Oregon Harvest Dinner
Fall
Celebrate the best of Oregon's harvest at a festive, five-star,
four-course dinner. Top Oregon chefs will prepare fabulous food
from the fields, streams and vineyards of our beautiful state.
Cost: $5,000 per table of eight includes a $4,000 tax-deductible gift to Oregon Food Bank.

Fill the Bag Food Drive
November and December
Watch The Oregonian for a special paper bag in early November.
Fill the bag with nonperishable food and drop it off at a participating
Jiffy Lube or US Bank. Other
sponsors include Weyerhaeuser, Nike, the Commerce Company, Community Newspapers, PODS and

Project Second Wind
March, in Portland Public
Schools and Washington County Schools
More than 45,000 K-12 students, along with school staff, neighbors,
local businesses and service organizations, study and discuss
the issue of hunger and collect food and funds in creative ways.

National Association of Letter
Carriers Union Food Drive
Second Saturday in May
Look for a plastic bag delivered with your mail in early May.
Then fill the bag with nonperishable food and put it out for your
mail carrier on Saturday, May 7. This one-day drive raised more
than 1.6-million pounds of food for hunger-relief throughout Oregon

Safeway Waterfront
Blues Festival
Presented by First Tech Credit Union
Fourth of July weekend
Waterfront Park, Portland
This is one of the largest blues festivals in the country. In
2007, more than 100 artists on four stages provided four days
of music, food and fun, including spectacular fireworks over the
