Most food donations come from food industry

Join the Oregon Food Bank mailing list

Most of our donations come from the food industry—all of the people and businesses—from farmers to retailers--who have a hand in the production and distribution of the food supply.

Since we work with a great variety of organizations, we’ve developed a broad range of strategies. So, if you’re in the food business, we may have already developed a way to use products you sometimes have in excess.

Don’t have food but have unused production capacity? Perhaps a freezing tunnel, canning line or a dehydrator?

We may be able to bring you donated ingredients so they can be made more useful. Packaging capacity is also very valuable.
