Transportation--a valuable resource

We bring donated food from all of Oregon and other states into our warehouses. And we ship food to our agencies throughout Oregon and Clark County Wash. Increasingly, we cooperate with food banks in other states to share surpluses. California may have too much lettuce for its needs; we may have too many potatoes. With low-cost or donated transportation, both states benefit and avoid waste.

Predictability is valuable. If your truck travels empty from Seattle to Portland once a week, we can work to fill it The same is true from Portland to Ontario, Ore. Transportation is a valuable resource. Refrigerated or dry. So, if you can donate back hauls or partial-load space, we’d like to talk to you.
