Community Basket program
 The Community Basket program is run by its members. Oregon Food Bank and other agencies sponsor the program.
For a membership fee of $15 per year (or $5 every four months), each month you get:
- a great way to get involved with people in your community,
- a newsletter about your community,
- a chance to use your skills and learn new ones,
- a bonus bag of surplus grocery items and
- fresh fruits and vegetables as available.
Joining Community Basket is easy!
Check the income
guidelines to make sure you qualify. You may join the program
in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties.
How to sign up
- Choose
the Community Basket site near your home.
- Come in on distribution day.
- Fill out a registration form.
- Pay $15 for a one-year membership or $5 for
four months.
- Come back each month to help run the program,
get news about your community and pick up your groceries. Items
may be condiments, cookies, crackers and other foods.
