Create a ripple effect in the community to benefit the fight against hunger. Community Outreach programs volunteers allow Oregon Food Bank to reach larger audiences and share information about OFB, hunger issues and the many ways that people like you can get involved in fighting hunger and its root causes.
Join our Speakers' Bureau!
The work of the Speakers’ Bureau volunteers is incredibly important, since OFB has limited staff time. Our Ambassadors are on the forefront, inspiring thousands, of people to take vital steps to help end hunger in Oregon through the following avenues:
Volunteers engage the community, educate people about hunger issues and the crucial services OFB provides all while inspiring people at places of worship, schools, and businesses to take action and give funds, food, time and/or voice.
Volunteers advocate for OFB at a variety of different events, from volunteer fairs at workplaces, to resource fairs in low income communities, to food drives at grocery stores, sporting events, you name it!
