Jason A Stephany brings nearly two decades of public relations and brand management experience to Oregon Food Bank’s communications and marketing team. He comes to OFB from Health Leads, a national non-profit dedicated to reducing health disparities through strong healthcare-community partnerships. Jason previously led strategic planning and media outreach efforts for the health and human service division of the Service Employees International Union.
Before coming to the Pacific Northwest, Jason spent more than a decade in staff and advisory roles for a host of local, statewide and national advocacy organizations and campaigns – including Emerge America, Planned Parenthood Advocates and America Votes. He is a founding partner of an award-winning consulting firm and serves as a trainer on public speaking, media relations and narrative development for a number of non-profit organizations and leadership institutes.
