Leslie Sampson’s first job at Oregon Food Bank was as a volunteer in the Learning Garden. Since 2004, she has held positions of Volunteer Coordinator, Volunteer Programs Manager, and Director of Partnerships and Programs. In 2019, Leslie was named the Chief of Staff.
Under Leslie’s leadership, Oregon Food Bank has designed programs at the intersections of food distribution, food literacy and participant leadership, shifting to holistic community-generated solutions.
Prior to joining Oregon Food Bank, Leslie worked in operations and HR for Storables and as a gallery preparator and exhibiting artist in Canada.
Leslie holds a BFA from Moore College of Art and Design and an MFA from Nova Scotia College of Art in Design.
