Every 10 years, the government counts our communities to determine how much money we receive for services and resources. Being counted in the census means more political representation and funding for programs that help fight hunger.

Census 101 Training
Our ‘Census 101’ training is a great way for volunteers and partner organizations to learn:

  • Why the census matters in our shared effort to end hunger;
  • The challenges we face in counting certain populations; and
  • Opportunities to help Oregon Food Bank ensure our communities are fully counted

Equipped with the tools and resources from our friends at #WeCountOregon, you’ll leave ready to engage friends in neighbors in conversations about the importance of completing the census. Join us at an upcoming ‘Census 101’ training near you!
