Cause-related Marketing

Hand holding green beans

Engage your customers and employees through partnering in our work towards eliminating hunger and its root causes in Oregon.

We would be glad to work with you to create a successful program and support your efforts. Examples of cause-related marketing programs include point-of-purchase activities, percentage of sales and product-based fundraisers.

We are grateful to the generous businesses that support Oregon Food Bank and our shared community.

See our events page for current promotions.

Our best practices are based on the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity Accountability:

  • Clearly state how Oregon Food Bank will benefit from the sale of products or services. All promotions should disclose:
    • The actual or anticipated portion of the purchase price that will benefit Oregon Food Bank
    • Time period of the promotion
    • Any maximum or guaranteed minimum contribution amount.
  • Submit to Oregon Food Bank for review and approval of all promotional materials or other use of our name or logo.
  • Promotions must not imply Oregon Food Bank’s endorsement of a product or service.

We value our brand as much as you do yours. Please reach out to our Corporate and Community Relations representative at the contact info below to complete a Letter of Agreement.

For an electronic version of Oregon Food Bank’s logo, branding guidelines and other data assets, contact our Corporate and Community Relations representative at the phone number or email address listed below.

And please run by us any public uses of name and logo prior to print or distribution.
