One STORIES OF HUNGER LIZA I've lived in this community about 15 1/2 years with my husband; we came here from Nevada. My dream is for his neck to get better because he had an accident at work and he ruptured three disks in his neck.

I was working at Bayliner at the time and I was making $12 an hour, so good money. But then they moved back east so I lost my job. And that’s when he got hurt, so really bad timing. He’s a lot better now and it doesn't look like he's hurt, but he can't lift more than 10 pounds. He has trouble brushing his hair and shaving, things like that. He can't keep his arms above his head very long. His pills come to over $500 per month. We just couldn't afford his medication if he wasn't a veteran.
