Making a difference, one bag at a time

May 1, 2017 –  For 25 years, the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has been helping to feed the human spirit of our communities.

Thanks to you and your neighbors, on Saturday, May 13, letter carriers in Oregon and Clark County, Washington will collect over 1 million pounds of food.

“We see a lot of people who do without, people struggling. It’s an honor to spend the day collecting food to help people,” said Billy Brink, a letter carrier in Portland.

Stamp Out Hunger takes place in communities across the nation and is the largest one-day food drive.

You can help in multiple ways. Leave non-perishable food out by your mailbox early on Saturday, May 13. Make a donation online. Or sign up to volunteer at a post office or adopt-a-route to help letter carriers pick up food along their routes.

Thank you to Elemental Technologies for sponsoring Adopt-a-Route.

Join this opportunity to see our community working together. Thank you!
