Anonymous data policies

When you visit Oregon Food Bank’s website, we collect some non-identifying basic information from server logs. This includes the total number of visitors, pages viewed, type of browser you are using, type of operating system you are using, domain name of your internet service provider, IP address and frequently used search words. We use this non-identifying basic information (aggregate data) internally to analyze site usage and to improve the content and design of the site.

Oregon Food Bank may disclose aggregate data (e.g., total number of donors, total donations for specific periods, average gift size, total number of volunteers for specific projects or events, donation profiles or total number of advocates) in external communications. Also, once per year, we may work with a third-party vendor to aggregate data, but personal information IS NOT sold, traded or shared beyond that internal use.

Employee, agent and contractor policies

Oregon Food Bank requires employees, agents and contractors who have access to personal information to protect information consistent with this Privacy Policy. Financial transactions processed on the internet or over the phone with Oregon Food Bank are secured in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), including credit card processing and token exchange. Oregon Food Bank’s donor pages are hosted by a third party, Classy.org, that is also in accordance with PCI DSS for its financial processing.
