Find food near you

How you helped in 2022 — and our thanks!

As we welcome the new year, I’m reflecting back on what we accomplished together last year and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for you and each person in our community of support.

Together, we’ve kept food flowing while addressing the root causes of hunger — and we have a lot to be proud of. We expanded distribution of culturally-specific food. We sustained so our community could find local food support resources in 14 languages. Supporters like you completed more than 12,000 volunteer operations, contributed 149,500 financial donations, and joined more than 3,500 activities to advocate successfully for anti-hunger policy changes.

Our network of leadership and support includes Policy Leadership Council members like Angelica. Ambassadors like Denis and Lourdez. Monthly Sustainers like Cathy. I am so grateful for each one of them — and for you! You are an essential part of this community.

The fight to end hunger continues. Inflation remains high and food insecurity continues to rise. And many members of our community still face unjust systems that make it harder for them to thrive and increase their risk of hunger.

We have a lot of work ahead of us in 2023. But as I look back at what we accomplished last year, I know that we can and will do it if we continue to work together.

We accomplished so much together this year with support from you and our whole community. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everything you do!

With warm wishes for 2023 — Susannah Morgan, CEO
