A New Leadership: Meet our Ambassadors and Policy Leadership Council

During the 2021 Oregon Harvest Dinner, our annual fundraising event, we shared stories of lived experiences from community members, and voices of those working to eliminate root causes of hunger, from legislative action and fighting systemic inequities, to nutrition education and community support.

This is one of those stories. At Oregon Food Bank, we believe people who have experienced hunger are the experts on hunger. And we envision a world where people who have experienced hunger will be project planners, advocates, community organizers, food bank and agency staff, and volunteers. Hear from community leaders in our Ambassador program and Policy Leadership Council on their work to end hunger and its root causes.
