October 2025 Community Cultivator: CoreGiving

Oregon Food Bank is proud to recognize CoreGiving as our October 2025 Community Cultivator.

CoreGiving is a dedicated partner in our work to end hunger. Through their three core principles of dollars, hours and meals, they engage the workforce to support food banks nationwide.

Every October, volunteers gather at food banks like Oregon Food Bank for CoreGiving Day, a volunteering event and a celebration of their incredible impact. This year, the event will be international for the first time. Hunger goes beyond borders, and CoreGiving helps work to feed our community not just in Oregon, but around the world.

Bridget O’Connell, Executive Director of CoreGiving, celebrates our partnership. “We support Oregon Food Bank because your deep roots in the community and innovative programs make you an essential partner in our fight to end childhood hunger,” she says. “Through our grantmaking and volunteer service — including our fifth annual CoreGiving Day this October — we are proud to advance your efforts to provide nourishing food to children and families in need.”

At Oregon Food Bank, we know that eliminating hunger and its root causes takes all of us. CoreGiving shows how powerful workforce giving and volunteerism can be in building stronger, more resilient communities.
