April 2026 Community Cultivator: Onpoint Community Credit Union
Oregon Food Bank is proud to recognize Onpoint Community Credit Union as our April 2026 Community Cultivator.
April is National Volunteer Month — a time to celebrate the individuals and organizations who show up for their communities in meaningful ways. Our April Community Cultivator is OnPoint Community Credit Union, the largest credit union headquartered in Oregon. OnPoint devotes time and energy year-round to addressing the needs of our community, which include ending hunger and its root causes.
Volunteerism is a core part of OnPoint’s approach to community involvement. Employees regularly join volunteer shifts at Oregon Food Bank’s statewide warehouse, helping sort and pack food that reaches families, children and seniors across the region. Each shift represents a tangible act of care — neighbors helping neighbors to ensure everyone has access to the food they need to thrive.
Tim Clevenger, SVP/Chief Marketing Officer for OnPoint Community Credit Union, reflected on the importance of food justice to our communities. “No one should have to worry about whether they can feed their families,” he said. “Oregon Food Bank works to make this idea a reality across Oregon and Southwest Washington by not just distributing food, but by advocating for change within the system. OnPoint’s efforts to build stronger communities can go so much farther by partnering with organizations that share our purpose. We’re proud to support Oregon Food Bank in eliminating hunger for good.”
Ending hunger will take all of us: businesses, volunteers, donors and advocates. Oregon Food Bank’s partnership with OnPoint Community Credit Union reflects what this collaboration can look like. Through volunteerism, support and education, together we are building a future where no one experiences hunger.
Thank you, OnPoint Community Credit Union, for your ongoing support and partnership!
